Home birth

Are you thinking that a home birth sounds good?
It is recommended that your pregnancy is considered to be low risk for home birth to be a great option for you. This is defined by the Australian College of Midwives in their National Consultation and Referral Guidelines.
Evidence has proven that continutiy of carer provides the best outcome for pregnancy, and when you're considered low risk that person could be an Endorsed Privately Practicing Midwife.
An Endorsed Midwife is a Registered Midwife who has completed additional education and training, and is authorised by the Australian Health Practioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) to prescribe medications, order investigations and manage some aspects of pregnancy, birth and the first 6 weeks after birth.
